The MINI was in bike carrying mode as I was on the way back from a weekend of cycling, I called in on the latest Pistonheads Sunday Service on the way back. More photos on Flickr…

Despite living in the same city as the factory where the MINI is built for the last five years, and at one point driving past it daily I’ve never ventured inside. Ironically it takes me far longer to get to the dealership where I bought my car than it does to get to the factory [...]
Another year, another British Mini Day at Himley Hall. Weather held quite nicely, lots of lovely cars on display including the Jaguar E-type from the original Italian Job. Many more photos on Flickr »
I attended the final Pistonheads Sunday Service of the year at Mercedes-Benz World in the grounds of Brooklands. It was one of the most impressive informal car shows that I’ve attended with some very exotic vehicles in attendance. Mercedes-Benz also wheeled out their SLR Stirling Moss for us to have a poke around, which was [...]
I spent a very wet Sunday morning stood outside BMW’s UK headquarters in Bracknell attending the ‘Sunday Service’ organised by motoring website Pistonheads. Despite the weather some fantastic cars turned up to join the already impressive display of vehicles that BMW had on display. Highlights for me included the electric MINI E prototype, Charley Boorman’s [...]
Attended my second Midlands Breakfast Club in the MINI. Was an unusually sunny morning which I happily spent being graced with the presence of some rare and interesting vehicles and tucking into a bacon roll. More photos in a Flickr set here.
Attended the August meeting of The Breakfast Club in the MINI with the Westfield in tow. We arrived a little later than planned and were greeted by a large amount of MINI owners already in situ. More photos here, including a few of the rather tasty new Nissan GT-R!
Spent the day at Curborough Sprint Course for a Westfield Sports Car Club organised track day. My brother built a Westfield back in 2005, I seem to have subconsciously copied his red, black and chrome colour scheme when I picked the MINI. It was the first time I’ve driven the Westfield since owning the MINI, [...]
I attended the 2009 British Mini Day held at Himley Hall in the West Midlands. It was a bigger event than previous years due to this year marking the 50th anniversary since the original Mini was first launched. The rest of my photos from the event can be found here.
Just spent a very enjoyable weekend in Devon. The MINI somehow managed to swallow three people and their luggage despite it’s fairly embarrassing boot capacity. The long journey down was comfortable and relaxing, the MINI is remarkable refined on the motorway for a smaller car and the addition of cruise control is welcome on a [...]
